Confidence is key. It is your first day at work, you should be proud. You nailed the interview that got your foot in the door, now walk firmly into your position.
2. DRESS TO IMPRESS
A good outfit says a lot about a person, so find your best dress or power suit and strut into the office. But, remember to be comfortable in your Sunday best outfit.
3. HAVE MANNERS
Okay, so we said be confident, just don’t be arrogant. Greet your new colleagues and learn their names. Remember to smile. Be respectful.
4. GIVE A FIRM HANDSHAKE
A firm handshake says a lot about a person. Firmly hold their hands to show them that you mean business.
5. PUT YOUR BEST FOOT FORWARD
Give yourself the chance to excel. Prove to them why they hired you. Be an attentive listener, ask questions and work hard.
